Job Summary
The Shop Technician at Peterson performs service activities mainly in the main service shop for customer and sales/rental fleet equipment. Responsibilities include maintaining a safe working environment, analyzing and diagnosing equipment malfunctions, performing repairs on engines, transmissions, and hydraulic components. The technician must write service reports, maintain documentation accurately, and may be required to operate vehicles. Candidates must have an Associates Degree in Diesel Technology or a related field and three years of heavy equipment service experience.

- Associates Degree in Diesel Technology or related field
- Minimum of three years of related experience
Desired Qualifications
- Three years of related experience in heavy equipment service
- Experience in a heavy industrial environment
