Job Summary
Diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, hydraulic components, and electrical systems for construction and forestry equipment to ensure accurate, timely repairs that maximize customer uptime. Analyze equipment malfunctions, rebuild final drives and steering assemblies, and assist with pre-delivery setup and installation on John Deere machinery. Perform technical diagnostics and repairs on all makes and models of new and used heavy equipment while working alongside trained mechanics in a fully supported shop environment.
Required Qualifications
- 3 or more years of experience in diagnosing and repairing all makes and models of new and used heavy equipment
- A team-oriented personality, with the focus and drive to work without direct supervision
- The discipline and skill to complete a technical diagnostic and repair training program
- Must provide own tools
- Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug test
