Job Summary
Diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, carburetors, final drives, steering, clutches, cross shafts, hydraulic components, electrical systems, and air systems for all makes and models of construction and forestry equipment. Perform pre-delivery setup and installation on John Deere equipment and allied products while ensuring repairs are accurate and timely to maximize customer uptime. Work alongside trained mechanics in a shop equipped with state-of-the-art resources to support the team without direct supervision. Requires three or more years of experience in heavy equipment diagnostics and repair, plus the ability to provide your own tools.
Required Qualifications
- 3 or more years of experience in diagnosing and repairing all makes and models of new and used heavy equipment
- A team-oriented personality, with the focus and drive to work without direct supervision
- The discipline and skill to complete a technical diagnostic and repair training program
- Must provide own tools
