Job Summary
Perform selection and assembly of foundations, pumps, and related equipment for specific jobs; identify and communicate problems with reels, equipment, and spools; operate and maintain testing equipment for visual and dimensional inspection; complete QA shipping/receiving reports; make minor repairs to equipment and fittings; execute tube cutting procedures and use cutting torch; qualified to operate forklift up to 70,000 lbs and crane; comply with NOV and HSE policies; maintain clean, safe work area; read blueprints and use precision measuring tools; follow basic computer workflows; demonstrate mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving in a manufacturing/factory setting.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred
- 1+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Mechanical problem-solving ability and troubleshooting is a must
- Knowledge in blueprint reading and precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, height gages, indicators and various transfer gages)
- Must possess a basic understanding of hydraulic systems
- Must be competent in the use of basic hand tools and other tools such as torque wrenches, impact guns, hydraulic torque machines, and air tools
- Must possess a basic understanding of hydraulic systems
- Must be able to safely drive/operate a forklift and must be able to safely operate a crane
- Must possess basic computer skills
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check
- Must be willing and able to work flexible shifts and changing work schedules on short notice
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to multitask in fast paced environment
- Factory environment with large range in temperature changes
- Ability to stand, walk, bend/stoop, push/pull and repetitive movement up to 12 hours daily
- Ability to lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs
