Shop Technician I (2nd Shift)

Job Summary

Required Qualifications

• •High School diploma or equivalent
• •Job related experience in a manufacturing environment, including hoist operations
• •Ability to learn new tasks
• •Ability to read/write and interpret standard work instructions
• •Ability to safely use overhead cranes/hoists and/or electric pallet jacks
• •Ability to use precision measuring devices
• •Ability to effectively and efficiently use hand tools, power tools, gauges, presses, torque measuring devices and/or other equipment
• •Ability to utilize various computer systems such as PinPoint, CRDL Production Systems and Teams Forms
• •Ability to adhere to facility policies to include good attendance and company values
• •Ability to work independently with support from Team Leads and Section Manager
• •Ability to understand labeling and flow of work in progress
• •Ability to understand and follow SWI's and daily Production Schedules
• •Ability to effectively communicate needs
• •Ability to Interface with plant management, supervisors and production personnel
• •Proven ability to work in a team setting
• •Ability to serve as a positive role model
• •Ability to conduct business with the highest level of honesty and integrity
• •Ability to follow established facility safety policies, safe job procedures and hazardous risk assessments
• •Ability to use the proper Personal Protective equipment for the specific job being performed
• •Ability to effectively perform basic assembly and disassembly operations

• •Ability to understand and follow SWI's and daily Production Schedules
• •Ability to adhere to facility policies to include good attendance and company values
• •Must pass the following pre-employment screenings: Background Screening, Drug & Alcohol Screening, Post-Offer Medical Questionnaire - clearance from Corporate Medical
• •Must be available for 2nd shift (4:15PM - 2:45AM)
• •Must be available Monday - Thursday with occasional overtime on Fridays
• •Must be available for 40-hour work weeks with potential for overtime
• •Must be available for 80 hours of vacation
• •Must be available for an additional 24 hours of paid Personal Time Off
