Job Summary
Gas Lift Shop Technician sought to diagnose faults, attend to breakdowns, and oversee equipment improvements and time-critical repairs in Odessa, TX. Responsibilities include maintaining preventative maintenance and breakdown records, investigating root causes and recommending corrective actions, assisting with troubleshooting and repair of equipment, evaluating non-conforming products for rework/repair/scrap, overseeing spare parts inventory and using a CMMS, coordinating and directing contractors for specialized repairs/installations, maintaining tools and PPE, conducting facility/equipment inspections as part of Emergency Response Procedures, leading Lean 5S +1 projects, and complying with safety policies. Requires use of hand/power tools and heavy equipment (forklifts/pallet jacks), willingness to work overtime and Saturdays, and a safety-minded approach to manufacturing environments.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 2 years of mechanical shop experience
- Valid drivers license
- Read, understand and speak English
