Job Summary
Maintain shop cleanliness, manage paint inventory, and execute repairs on paint systems, trucks, and facilities. Open and close the shop daily, drive company vehicles to customer job sites for minor field repairs, and assist with wood/steel fabrication. Document all work via service logs and progress reports while performing routine inspections of equipment and machinery. Available on-site or on-call during designated hours, including nights and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- A current and valid driver's license
- Successful completion of OSHA 30 hour Construction course
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in one or more of the following fields: construction, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, mechanic, maintenance
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Solid documentation habits (written logs and photos)
- Basic proficiency in computers, smartphones, Google Apps, and Slack
- Working knowledge of basic construction techniques
- Practical math
- Wood/steel fabrication methods
- Proficient and safe operation of hand/power tools, machinery, and equipment for maintenance and outdoor job sites
- Comfortability working and climbing at heights
- Using/transporting ladders
- Hauling tools
- Strict adherence to Colossal safety standards
- Full compliance with DOT and OSHA regulations
- Ability to work in adverse weather conditions
- Ability to climb to heights up to 100 ft
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds
