Job Summary
Repair machinery, equipment, and components by developing repair plans, determining necessary parts, and performing safe, quality-assured fixes. Troubleshoot issues using test equipment, blueprints, and service manuals while managing work processes through company computer systems. Generate and maintain daily service reports, work order closures, and technical documentation for parts ordering and warranty reporting. Retrieve and return parts and special tools, including major shop equipment like air compressors and cranes, ensuring proper care and usage. Interact constructively with co-workers, customers, vendors, and suppliers to maintain positive working relationships.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- 3 plus years' experience in similar position.
- Experience performing troubleshooting, diagnostics and repairs to agriculture, construction, off-road or heavy equipment or other similar equipment.
- Experience using test equipment and tools to analyze, evaluate, locate and repair problems.
- Experience with computers, spreadsheets, word processing programs.
- Located in the Harrisburg, IL area.
