Job Summary
Shop Technician responsible for managing the shop's cylinder fleet, inbound/outbound cylinders, refrigerant consolidation, inventory, and readiness for pickup. Duties include consolidating refrigerant between cylinders, operating electric pallet jack and liftgate, assisting technicians with loading/unloading, managing parts inventory, maintaining an organized workspace, performing general maintenance on recovery equipment, adhering to EPA regulations, and performing other duties as needed. Requires high school diploma or GED, 21+ years old, valid driver's license, ability to lift up to 75+ pounds, and willingness to obtain EPA 608 license within 14 days. Experience with HVAC refrigerant/recovery is preferred; training provided.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be at least 21
- Must have a valid Driver's License
- Must be able to lift, push, and pull cylinders up to 75 pounds
- EPA 608 License within 14 days of employment
- Knowledge of HVAC industry and refrigerant handling preferred but not required
- Strong organizational skills
- Exceptional communication, reading, writing, and math skills
