Job Summary
Ensure the effective day-to-day running of Lighthouse shops by promoting a positive team culture and supporting volunteers in accordance with Valley CiDS standards. Manage sales targets through effective stock management, cost control, and monitoring retail competitors to drive commercial development. Oversee sourcing, sorting, and merchandising of stock while maintaining high standards of display, cleanliness, and customer service. Take responsibility for designated working days, including covering shifts for the shop manager and other team members during holidays or sickness.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in a retail/customer centric environment
- Previous experience of communicating with a diverse customer base
- Ability to motivate, inspire and work as a team
- Good standard of numeracy
- Good administrative and organisational skills
- Ability to undertake banking tasks
- Ability to keep basic records
- Ability to organise resources in a busy environment
- Strong communicator
- Ability to deal with customer issues
