Job Summary
Lead the service team to ensure an efficient, safe, and profitable operation, including documenting calls, assigning jobs to technicians, administering safety programs, overseeing work-in-process and invoicing, coordinating with customers on scope of work and repairs, creating accurate service estimates, handling customer communications and warranty information, assisting technicians with complex diagnostics, managing technician productivity and scheduling, coaching and mentoring staff, recruiting/hiring technicians, and conducting yearly performance reviews; position requires strong customer interaction, team leadership, and a focus on safety and efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- 2-year technical degree preferred
- Management experience preferred
- 2+ years of technical or mechanical knowledge in heavy equipment
- Aggregate equipment experience is beneficial
- Strong computer skills
- Basic understanding of warranty issues preferred
- Able to work responsibly, safely, and intelligently
- Have the desire to take action, improve, and be appreciative
- Possess the capability to engage with customers, co-workers, and vendors in a respectful manner
