Job Summary
Diagnose and troubleshoot engines, generators, and power systems while repairing, rebuilding, and maintaining industrial and power generation equipment. Disassemble, inspect, and reassemble components; test, measure, and adjust performance. Perform preventative maintenance and inspections, then complete detailed service reports and documentation. Stay current with evolving tools, technologies, and systems. Support occasional after-hours service needs when required. Work on Caterpillar power systems and generators supporting industrial, marine, and backup power applications.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience working on engines, generators, or power systems
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of mechanical and/or electrical systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic computer skills (diagnostics & documentation)
- Your own tools
- A safety-first mindset and attention to detail
- A background check
- Drug testing
Desired Qualifications
- (CAT experience or technical degree is a plus)
