Job Summary
Diagnose and troubleshoot engines, generators, and power systems; repair, rebuild, and maintain industrial and power generation equipment. Disassemble, inspect, and reassemble components while testing, measuring, and adjusting system performance. Perform preventative maintenance and inspections, then complete detailed service reports and documentation. Stay current with evolving tools, technologies, and systems, and support occasional after-hours service needs when required.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience working on engines, generators, or power systems
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of mechanical and/or electrical systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic computer skills (diagnostics & documentation)
- Your own tools
- A safety-first mindset and attention to detail
- A background check
- Drug testing
Desired Qualifications
- CAT experience
- Technical degree
