Job Summary
Heavy equipment-focused Shop Service Technician responsible for reconditioning and repairing heavy equipment and components, performing diagnostic inspections, and accurately recording time, parts, and purchases. Maintain tools, vehicles, and shop equipment in top condition while leveraging ongoing John Deere training and certifications. Strong earning potential with in-house training and career advancement opportunities. Must have a High School Diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license; John Deere experience and 3+ years of related experience are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Experience with heavy equipment repair and maintenance
- Valid Driver’s License with clean MVR
- Minimum of 3 years diesel technician training or equivalent experience preferred
- John Deere equipment experience highly desirable
- Proficiency with basic computer software (Microsoft Office)
