Job Summary
Perform moderately complex shop operations, inspect and repair equipment, and operate testing machinery to ensure operational readiness. Utilize hand and power tools safely while completing required documentation and maintaining a clean, organized work environment. Follow all safety policies, proactively address unsafe conditions, and work independently with minimal supervision. This night shift position operates from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM on an 11 days on/3 days off schedule. The role supports equipment maintenance, repair, and testing for a global energy technology leader focused on digital innovation and sustainable practices.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to complete required documentation accurately
- Experience repairing mechanical equipment or demonstrated mechanical aptitude
- Understanding of testing equipment and inspection criteria
- Working knowledge of hand tools and power tools
- Basic computer skills, including data entry and communication
- Ability to work independently in a shop environment
- Lift up to 50 pounds occasionally, up to 20 pounds frequently, and up to 10 pounds continuously
- Stand and walk for extended periods
- Climb ladders, stairs, ramps, and scaffolding
- Bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and squat frequently
- Reach, grasp, push, pull, lift, and carry equipment and materials
- Perform repetitive hand, wrist, and finger movements, including computer use and equipment operation
- Maintain balance while working on uneven or slippery surfaces
- Perform detailed visual inspections of equipment and components
- Safely operate motor vehicles when required
- Communicate effectively in person and receive detailed verbal instructions
- Shift: 7:00PM - 7:00AM Night Shift position. 11 days on / 3 days off (every other Friday, Saturday, and Sunday)
