Job Summary
Diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, carburetors, final drives, steering, clutches, and hydraulic components on all makes and models of agriculture equipment. Replace or rebuild systems including electrical and air systems, and assist with pre-delivery setup and installation on John Deere equipment and allied products. Support customer uptime by ensuring repairs are accurate and timely. This role requires 2+ years of experience with small engines and agricultural systems, self-motivation, and the ability to work without direct supervision. Candidates must provide their own tools and possess basic computer knowledge. Competitive hourly pay ranges from $25-38 depending on experience.
Required Qualifications
- 2 or more years of working knowledge of small engines and agricultural equipment including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic systems, and air conditioning systems
- Must provide own tools
- The Pape' Group maintains a drug-free workplace and requires candidates to successfully pass a pre-employment drug test
