Job Summary
Perform full range of maintenance, repair, and service activities on heavy earthmoving and grading equipment, including troubleshooting malfunctions. Work safely and efficiently on light and heavy industrial site development, road construction, mining, and landfill projects. Handle strenuous physical labor involving lifting items up to 50 pounds, standing for long periods, and operating in extreme weather conditions. Work 50 hours per week minimum while holding a valid driver's license and passing a DOT Physical.
Required Qualifications
- minimum of five years heavy equipment mechanic experience
- hand tools
- pass a DOT Physical
- willing and able to work 50 hours per week minimum
- able and willing to walk, stand for long periods of time
- ability and be willing to work outside in extreme weather conditions
- valid driver's license
