Job Summary
Lead a team of technicians to deliver a fast, friendly oil-change service and oversee all shop operations, including staffing, training, inventory, and financial performance. Drive safe, high-quality, and customer-centered service; recruit, onboard, coach, and evaluate staff; manage scheduling, payroll, and budgets; monitor performance metrics and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations. Strong leadership and communication skills to develop a high-performing team in a fast-paced automotive/retail environment.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: 2–5 years in automotive service, retail, or quick-lube industry, with at least 1–2 years in a leadership role
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with oil change processes, vehicle maintenance, and shop equipment
- Leadership: Proven ability to train, motivate, and manage a team effectively
- Customer Focus: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to resolve issues quickly and professionally
- Organizational Skills: Strong time management, multitasking, and attention to detail
- Technology: Basic computer literacy, including POS systems, MS Office, and inventory software
- Problem-Solving: Resourceful and adaptable in managing operational challenges
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent
