Job Summary
Oversee shop operations by training staff on Take 5 standards for oil changes, tire services, and light maintenance while ensuring crew execution meets customer service expectations. Motivate the team, hold them accountable, and make personnel decisions including recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and conducting quarterly evaluations. Manage inventory through End of Period and End of Year counts, place product orders, and support technicians with their duties. Check in with customers before they leave to verify satisfaction and ensure excellent service delivery. Control shop finances to drive results and beat budget, while creating crew schedules and submitting payroll. Work approximately 55 hours per week with early hours, adapting to hot or cold conditions and physical demands like standing, bending, and maneuvering in a 3-foot pit.
Required Qualifications
- Be prepared for early hours and working approximately 55 hours per week
- Must be adaptive to change
- Basic computer skills
- Must maneuver in and out of a shallow 3' deep pit used to position yourself safely under cars
- You will walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, etc. for extended periods of time and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling and turning
- You may need to work in hot/cold weather conditions
