Job Summary
Oversee all shop employees through onboarding, hiring, training, coaching, and corrective actions while ensuring QA standards and labor targets are met. Create and post daily shop schedules, lead crew meetings, and model expectations to drive sales and customer experience scores. Communicate upcoming promotions and standard changes to the team, coordinate with regional leadership to address maintenance needs, and maintain compliance with health, safety, and company policies. This role requires a minimum 37-hour weekly schedule with flexible availability for early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must have Dutch Bros Shop Lead experience
- No disciplinary action for the past 90 days
- Must have the desire to become an Operator
- Must obtain and maintain a Food Handler Permit/Certification
- Must be able to complete, pass and maintain mandatory certificates, training, and knowledge tests
- Must complete and pass a standard background check and MVR
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must be available to work a minimum of 37 hours per week
- Must be available to work a flexible, ever-changing schedule that may include early mornings, evenings, and weekends
- Must be committed to the company and have a desire to grow with Dutch Bros
- Must be disciplined
- Must be patient
- Must be present
- Must be intentional
- Must demonstrate all Broista, Shift Lead, and Shop Lead Levels of Leadership expectations

- Must be able to maintain good business practices as outlined by management
- Must be able to ensure appropriate staffing
- Must be able to attend and/or host shop leadership meetings and monthly shop meetings
- Must be able to communicate with your Regional Shop Manager and/or Regional Operator and assist in identifying and remedying problems deserving attention
- Must be able to handle up to 65 lbs
- Must be able to ascend or descend on ladders and ramps
- Must be able to receive detailed information through oral communication
- Must be able to handle cash requiring mental math
- Must be able to talk, express, or exchange ideas by means of verbal communication
- Must be able to work in a unique and fun environment
- Must be able to make connections
