Job Summary
Assist the Shop Manager in running the Bradley Stoke shop: serve customers, sort and display stock, handle cash, and follow health and safety procedures. Work with volunteers and paid staff to plan, prioritise and delegate workload, help foster a positive working culture, and contribute to a supportive shop environment. Part-time role (14 hours per week) including Sundays and one other day; full on-the-job training provided.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Organised and able to manage time effectively
- Experience of working in retail or a customer service position
- Ability to work as part of a team and using own initiative
- Flexibility to cover extra hours when others are absent
- Training provided with full on-the-job training
