Job Summary
Shop Manager for a locally owned national wood refinishing company. Responsible for overseeing daily store operations, managing staff performance and training, enforcing safety and company policies, ensuring high-quality workmanship, resolving customer complaints, and leading staff to operate effectively. Key duties include developing opening/closing routines, maintaining quality standards for products, evaluating and updating policies for efficient operations, and driving excellent customer service. Requires knowledge of installing cabinets, shelves, and fixtures; strong leadership, project-management, and team-management skills; physically capable to lift up to 40 lbs; ability to work Monday–Friday 8:00am–5:00pm; some sales experience preferred.
