Job Summary
Plan, coordinate, and implement efficient, error-free repair methods for equipment while supervising maintenance staff to maximize performance and profit. Review daily maintenance schedules with shift personnel, inspect and measure employee performance, and assist in training, development, and evaluations. Recruit, interview, and develop maintenance personnel in conjunction with the Region Maintenance Manager, while investigating accidents and initiating corrective actions for injuries or discrepancies. Ensure the facility adheres to safety and cleanliness standards, including DOT, EPA, ICC, and OSHA regulations, and maintain excellent communication with internal and external customers.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of the LTL/Transportation Industry
- Experience in management
- Experience in a maintenance setting
