Job Summary
The Shop Manager is responsible for overseeing the operations of a 24/7 truck maintenance facility, managing personnel, budgets, and vendor relationships while ensuring compliance with maintenance programs and safety regulations. The role requires excellent communication, multitasking abilities, and strong leadership skills in a fast-paced environment. Candidates must have relevant experience in operations management and heavy-duty vehicle maintenance.

Desired Qualifications
- 5+ years’ experience with Heavy Duty Vehicle Maintenance
- Proven Operations Management experience
- Experienced in vendor relations

- Experienced in financial controls and budgeting
- Prior experience with billing oversight for primary customer and third party carriers is highly preferred
- Computer experience required
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Strong mechanical aptitude with experience running a shop or shift
- Transportation industry experience strongly preferred
- Broad understanding transportation processes and standards
