Job Summary
Maintenance Technician to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment according to manufacturer specifications. Responsibilities include emergency/unscheduled repairs during production and scheduled maintenance, simple machinist duties, and applying mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills. Performs preventive maintenance on equipment such as CNC drill lines, plate processor, and overhead cranes; reads manuals and work orders; diagnoses problems, replaces/repairs parts, tests equipment, and makes adjustments. Maintains safety and cleanliness, participates in the safety program, and may perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Electrical maintenance degree or completion of a craft apprenticeship is a plus
- Ability to lift and move objects up to 75 pounds
- Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders
- Basic math skills
