Job Summary
Maintain employee relations, ensure operators meet quality expectations, and lead daily work activities based on the production schedule. Conduct safety audits, train new employees on safety procedures, and organize product flow to maximize efficiency. Directly supervise staff, assign tasks, and hold operators responsible for daily performance targets while ensuring all equipment functions properly. Report maintenance issues accurately and verify that employees have necessary tools and resources. Carry out daily production operations when the manager is unavailable, manage manpower requirements, and maintain housekeeping standards.
Required Qualifications
- Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read tape measure accurately
- Manual dexterity
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- 5 years industrial experience preferred
- Basic computer skills
- Microsoft Office
- Safety glasses
- Ear protection
- Steel toed boots
- Gloves
- Face shield or goggles
