Job Summary
Shop Laborers are responsible for insulating and assembling products for delivery, using sealant, and following work orders to ascertain materials. Responsibilities include loading and unloading materials, transporting products, counting and recording units, and attaching labels. The role requires the ability to learn multiple areas, adhere to attendance requirements, and may involve lifting weights up to 200 pounds with assistance. Basic computer skills may be preferred. No previous certifications or licenses are required.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical operations (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Ability to work as part of a team or independently as required.
- Regular, consistent, reliable, punctual, and predictable attendance.
