Job Summary
Operate industrial robotic sandblasting cells, including robot controllers and HMIs. Load, select, and verify blasting programs and process recipes. Monitor robotic motion, blasting parameters, and cycle execution. Verify blast pressure, abrasive flow rate, and nozzle condition. Monitor surface coverage, finish quality, and dwell time. Adjust process parameters within defined limits to meet specifications. Set up workpieces, fixtures, or positioners. Assist with part changeovers and program selection. Perform routine preventive maintenance (filters, nozzles, hoses). Identify and respond to system alarms and faults. Ensure a clean and safe work area. Maintain proper identification of materials entering and exiting work areas. Work Monday through Thursday, 5:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Adhere to Maguire's PPE Policy and Safety Programs.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience with industrial equipment, robotics, or automated machinery
- Goal oriented, reliable, responsible for their actions
- Able to accept responsibility for others in work area
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Must have enough manual dexterity and stability as required for precision work
- Must be able to see details at close range
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
- Must be able to traverse construction sites by climbing, balancing, lifting, walking, stooping, and carrying materials
