Job Summary
Report to work daily in proper PPE, sweeping shop floors, emptying garbage, and cleaning restocking bathrooms. Operate ride-on sweepers, power wash equipment, detail truck cabs, and fuel machinery as needed. Remove snow from walkways with a blower or shovel, salt surfaces, and replace light bulbs during regular maintenance. Drive a company vehicle to pick up parts for mechanics and complete daily assignments accurately. Maintain a clean, safe environment while using hand and power tools in compliance with all safety policies.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to get to and from work
- Able and willing to work long hours, including responding to emergency maintenance situations
- Able to walk, lift, reach, stoop, stand, grasp, balance, climb, kneel, crouch, and lift up to 50 pounds frequently
- Able to work in outside environments being subjected to weather changes, noise, vibrations, and job hazards
- Ability to do physical labor and other strenuous physical tasks
- Requires good manual dexterity
- Experience working with tools, including hand and power tools
- Ability to work safely in close proximity to heavy equipment and machinery
- Ability to adapt to changing work priorities
- Possess a strong sense of personal responsibility
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Any vocational training is strongly desired
- Those with an education and/or work-related credential from a secondary or post-secondary educational system will be given preferred interview status (Precision Exams, NOCTE, etc.)
- Creative problem-solving abilities
- Display a willing attitude to learn from others
