Shop Helper / Truck Mechanic

Job Summary
Receive driver and owner/operator reports and conduct initial inspections to diagnose problems using test drives and instruments like pressure gauges and motor analyzers. Perform preventative maintenance, air and hydraulic brake repairs, warranty procedures, and electrical diagnostics on medium and heavy duty trucks. Clean, repair, recondition, and maintain equipment components while ensuring all tasks follow Charger safety procedures. Get equipment back up and running efficiently and cost-effectively. Valid G-class driver's license with clear driving record required; 2+ years of truck mechanic experience necessary. Located in Cambridge office.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience as Truck Mechanic
- Valid G-class driver's license with clear driving record
- Knowledge of truck parts and equipment and truck repairs
- Effective problem solver with the ability to understand issues and find solutions in a timely manner
- High attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced work environment
Desired Qualifications
- 310T and/or 310J licenses
- Knowledge of DOT/MTO rules and regulations
