Job Summary
Shop Helper to support daily shop operations by performing a variety of general tasks. Responsibilities include assisting with basic mechanical work, cleaning and organizing the shop, preparing parts through blasting and solvent cleaning, and helping with painting and handling of components. Maintains safety, assists with disassembly of rotating equipment, prepares and paints parts with approved coatings, welds fixturing and skids, assists machinist with setups, operates forklift (training provided), and supports logistic tasks. Requires at least two years in an industrial/machine shop setting (preferred) and a High School Diploma or GED. Full-time role based in RMS’s Mepco facility in Houston, TX; background check and drug screening may be required. Authorized to work in the United States.
