Job Summary
Shop Helper and Operator roles at our Verdi, NV plant include loading/unloading dies from heating furnaces, operating forklift, manipulator, and overhead crane under supervision; basic die/insert setups and tooling tasks; use of grinders and various hand tools; maintaining a clean, safe workspace; following supervisor directions; day and swing shifts; on-site work with ITAR compliance requirements; manufacturing environment with forklift experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High School education or equivalent
- Manufacturing experience preferred
- Forklift experience preferred
- ITAR compliance: US Citizens or Permanent Residents only
- Ability to operate forklift, manipulator, overhead crane under supervision
- Ability to load/unload dies and perform basic die/insert setups
- Ability to use hand grinders, wheel grinders, impact wrenches, sledgehammers
- Good understanding of shop floor instructions and safety practices
