Job Summary
Build wooden crates, skids, and pallets for shipment while gathering parts and materials to maintain production flow. Load and unload equipment, raw materials, and freight, and operate forklifts and overhead cranes. Assist with grinding, washing tanks, and removing protective film, then support shipping and receiving activities. Perform shop cleanup, including dumping scrap using forklifts, and maintain safe, organized, and efficient work areas. Assist shop floor teams with general labor tasks and perform additional duties as needed to support operations. Monday–Thursday, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM, $18–$19 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Frequent lifting and moving up to 50 pounds
- Use of hands, arms, and fine motor skills
- Vision requirements include close, distance, color, and depth perception
- Must wear required PPE, including safety glasses and steel-toe boots
- Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- 2+ years of manufacturing or shop experience preferred
- Forklift experience preferred
- Ability to read tape measures accurately
- Experience using hand and power tools
- Strong verbal communication and teamwork skills
- Professional, respectful interaction with coworkers and customers
