Job Summary
Perform local pick up and delivery of parts and supplies, stock incoming materials, and conduct general repairs using hand tools. Execute seasonal maintenance around the facility, including shovelling snow on exterior walkways, and perform monthly facility inspections. Assist shop and operations personnel as required, including support for hot shot deliveries and out-of-town shipments. Maintain a positive attitude and commitment to safety while lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying in accordance with company policies. Valid Class 5 Driver License required; Class 3 is an asset. Required Qualifications
- Positive attitude and commitment to our safety culture
- Valid Class 5 Driver License
- Provide a 5-year Commercial Drivers Abstract
- Mechanically inclined with experience operating hand tools
- Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively
- Self starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to lift, push, pull and carry in accordance with company polices and applicable safety legislation
Desired Qualifications
- Class 3 is an asset
