Job Summary
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair complex electrical, mechanical, electronic, and digital control system issues on mobile generator units; remove, repair, and replace major components; set up, configure, and test generator paralleling systems to ensure seamless multi-unit synchronization and load sharing; troubleshoot, program, and repair automatic transfer switches (ATS) and integrated mobile switchgear configurations; perform comprehensive load-bank testing and quality checks; accurately document diagnostic findings, parts used, and repair actions within the shop’s maintenance tracking system.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of generator experience preferred
- Strong troubleshooting skills across electrical and mechanical systems
- Ability to travel overnight ~once/quarter
- Ability to be on call required
