Job Summary
Shop Foreman to supervise service technicians and yard staff in Sunbelt Rentals’ workshop and on customer job sites. Responsible for directing daily operations, coordinating workload for maximum efficiency, training technicians in best practices and safety, performing inspections to ensure repair quality, and collaborating with other areas to provide seamless customer service. Requires supervisory experience, strong communication and customer relations skills, and mechanical experience with rental equipment; position emphasizes leadership, operational efficiency, and adherence to safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- Trade school or college degree preferred
- Valid Driver’s license
- Previous supervisory experience
- 5+ years of mechanical experience within Rental Industry or similar
- Proven customer relations and communications skills
- Basic computer understanding to enter data or information into a terminal or PC
- Methods, materials and tools required to repair and maintain rental equipment
- Proven safety record
