Job Summary
Supervise and train a team of skilled technicians and production personnel while overseeing daily shop operations, including scheduling, workflow, and resource allocation. Ensure adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and production deadlines, and perform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting of complex machinery and equipment. Implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency and reduce waste, manage inventory of parts, tools, and supplies, and coordinate procurement as needed. This role requires 5+ years of manufacturing shop experience, 2+ years in leadership, blueprint interpretation, and safety knowledge. Required Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in a manufacturing shop environment
- 2+ years experience in a leadership or supervisory role
- Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

- Experience with preventative maintenance and troubleshooting of shop equipment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Desired Qualifications
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for production planning and inventory management
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) for reviewing technical drawings
- Bilingual in Spanish and English
