Job Summary
Supervise and train shop floor personnel on manufacturing processes and safety protocols while overseeing daily production schedules to ensure timely order completion. Maintain machinery and equipment through preventative maintenance and repairs, and implement quality control standards for all manufactured products. Manage inventory of raw materials, tools, and finished goods, and coordinate with engineering and sales departments to optimize production flow. Ensure full compliance with safety regulations and company policies. This role requires 5+ years of manufacturing shop experience and 2+ years in a leadership capacity.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in a manufacturing shop environment
- 2+ years in a leadership or supervisory role
- Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality control standards
- Experience with preventative maintenance and troubleshooting of machinery
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with lean manufacturing principles
- Proficiency in CAD software for design review or minor modifications
- Certified in welding inspection (CWI) or other relevant quality certifications
- Demonstrated ability to train and mentor junior technicians
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) to communicate with a diverse workforce
