Job Summary
Manage shop workflow and technicians to ensure repairs meet industry standards while maintaining cleanliness and organization. Oversee field service scheduling, coordinate equipment delivery, and track monthly expenses. Perform wheel end and brake repairs, basic welding, and diagnostics on trailers ranging from 3,500 to 12,000lb axles. Conduct DOT inspections, read service books, and provide training for new hires. Lead the Colorado service team with a focus on safety, cost savings, and professional customer interactions.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Strong math skills
- Valid driver's license
- CDL
- Medical card
- Safeland certification
- Capability of lifting 70 lbs. repeatedly
- Capability to work in extreme weather conditions such as heat/cold/wind/rain/snow
- Must pass pre-employment fit test
- General knowledge of the rules and regulations in accordance with 49 CFR part 396
- Knowledge of OSHA requirements and safe working practices
- Strong management, leadership and interpersonal skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Computer skills and a familiarity with Microsoft Office suite programs
- 5+ years fleet / asset management including performing DOT inspections on light, medium and heavy-duty vehicles (semi-trucks/trailers)
Desired Qualifications
- 5+ years of industry related experience in the oil and gas industry
- ASE certifications A1-A8 / T1-T8
- 5+ years of industry related experience in the oil and gas industry
