Shop Foreman - Applied Controls

Job Summary
Lead and manage shop personnel and production efforts, overseeing daily operations including conduit and wire routing, electrical wiring, PLC control wiring, and general assembly. Direct team members through mentorship and development while developing internal processes to drive project execution efficiencies. Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, and Service teams on shop loading needs and monitor vendor performance for quality and delivery. Assist with managing inventory levels for consumable items. This role reports to the Production Manager and requires 5+ years of experience in assembly, electrical, or controls roles.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Assembly, Electrical, Controls, or similar roles
- Experience in People and Project Management
- Strong customer focus and relationship-building skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency in project management and process improvement
- Leadership and team management experience
- Technical understanding of relevant products and services
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Ability to collaborate across departments and mentor team members
- Frequently required to stand
