Job Summary
Coordinate production floor operations between Assembly Lines and Line Supply to ensure materials are present and available to complete the production schedule; track production backlog and provide data-driven recommendations to Scheduling; maintain each assembly line's supply bays to prevent material overflow; communicate capacity constraints and mitigation plans to ensure schedule completion; track and communicate repairs on production lines to minimize downtime; monitor material availability and escalate shortages or delays; collaborate with Scheduling, Line Supply, Maintenance, and Production Supervision; support continuous improvement initiatives to optimize material flow and production efficiency; requires 2+ years in manufacturing or materials coordination, strong organizational and communication skills, proficiency with inventory systems and production software; beneficial qualifications include an Associate degree in Supply Chain, familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, ERP/MRP systems, and knowledge of furniture manufacturing processes
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 2+ years of experience in manufacturing, production planning, or materials coordination
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Proficiency with inventory management systems and basic computer applications (Excel, email, production software)
