Job Summary

Lead all manufacturing operations for the overhaul, repair, refurbishment, and testing of heavy industrial gas turbine components, ensuring zero-incident safety culture and full regulatory compliance. Own the facility's profit and loss, manage annual budgets, and optimize resources through Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma to achieve production objectives and financial targets. Direct cross-functional teams in production planning, supply chain coordination, and quality management while delivering on-time customer commitments. Maintain inventory accuracy, coordinate maintenance activities, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across engineering, maintenance, and EHS functions. Report to the Operations Director and work with Engineered Performance Management to support the full life cycle of energy and industrial plants.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, operations management, business, or related technical field from an accredited college or university recognized by the United States Department of Education or equivalent
  • 10 years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience, including management of industrial repair, overhaul, or heavy manufacturing operations
  • Experience managing P&L responsibility within a manufacturing environment
  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing cross-functional teams in a high-performance manufacturing environment
  • Experience with heavy industrial equipment, rotating machinery, gas turbines, power generation equipment, or similar industries
  • ERP/MRP systems and production planning tools
  • Strong background in production planning, supply chain management, inventory control, quality systems, and continuous improvement

  • Normal working hours are 8:00a.m. to 5:00p.m. Monday through Friday
  • The employee may sit at a desk and use a computer workstation for long periods, stand, walk, use hands and fingers, lift/carry items weighing 25-40+ lbs., climb stairs; balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, talk and hear
  • All employees will participate in the Fitness for Duty Program. This program includes a post-offer physical examination and drug screening and post-employment random drug screening
  • There are extensive smoking restrictions in and around the facility
  • Safety is a core value of NAES and as a condition of employment, all employees are expected to be mentally alert and work safely at all times
  • Additionally, employees are required to adhere to all safety warnings and posted safety signs whenever on company property
  • Furthermore, employees must follow all NAES safety rules and procedures

Desired Qualifications

  • Master's degree in engineering, manufacturing, operations management, business, or related technical field from an accredited college or university recognized by the United States Department of Education or equivalent
  • Experience with gas turbine overhaul and refurbishment processes
  • Project Management experience
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies
  • Strong understanding of inspection methods, NDE techniques, and quality systems
