Job Summary
Shop Crane Technicians at MGX are responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various crane equipment, including mobile cranes and boom trucks. The role requires thorough inspections, testing products after repairs, and ensuring compliance with OEM specifications. Candidates should have a minimum of two years of experience, be proficient in reading electrical and hydraulic schematics, and possess a valid driver's license. The position includes a sign-on bonus, tool reimbursement program, and may offer relocation assistance.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Crane Mechanic/Technician
- Must be able to read both electrical and hydraulic schematics
- Possession of a valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record
- Required to purchase full set of hand tools up to 1.5 inches
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with different forms of mobile crane equipment, specifically Grove RT & TMS Cranes
- Grove GMK European Cranes
- Manitowoc EPIC and/or Traditional Cranes
- National Boom Trucks
- Excellent communication skills with a customer/client focus
- Basic computer skills
