Job Summary
Shop Associate responsible for coordinating shop/warehouse operations, inventory control, and materials logistics, including transporting supplies between Houston and Dallas. Collaborates with project management and Shop Foreman to ensure safety, accurate documentation, and timely completion of project activities. Duties include inventory control of hard assets,Materials handling, shipping and receiving, and maintaining records. Requires ability to read construction drawings, strong communication, and the physical capability to lift up to 75 lbs; must have a valid driver's license and be able to drive a truck over long distances. Prior experience in construction, retail, or commercial construction is preferred; role involves some nights and evenings and the potential for leadership responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license and good driving record
- Ability to safely drive a truck long distances
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
- Familiarity with construction, remodeling, and roll outs is a plus
