Job Summary
Maintain shop cleanliness by sweeping areas, inspecting safety protocols, and managing inventory for tools and supplies. Perform daily shop sweep sheets, monitor bulk supplies to prevent shortages, and operate a forklift with daily checklists. Assist technicians with minor repairs after completing other tasks, handle snow removal from customer units, and manage scrap metal recycling. Pick up and deliver parts to vendors while ensuring fire extinguishers are inspected monthly. Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and standards, maintaining a professional appearance and attitude toward customers and co-workers.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be able to occasionally lift/move up to 100 pounds
- Must be able to stand and climb into trailers
- Must be able to operate forklift
- Must be able to maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Must be helpful and considerate to co-workers and customers
- Must adhere to all company policies, procedures, and standards
- Must display a professional attitude toward Company and fellow employees
- Must maintain a professional appearance
- Must maintain verbal and written communications as required
- Must be available for no weekends
