Job Summary
Ensure the workshop is clean and tidy, power wash equipment at the shop or in the field, and stock, organize, and pick up parts from vendors as directed. Perform flagging duties of heavy equipment, shuttle employees to and from various job sites, and keep outside yard and staging areas free of garbage and weeds. Assist mechanics with repairs and maintenance of road construction equipment while adhering to safety policies, attending meetings, and wearing appropriate protective equipment. A valid driver's license and good MVR are required, along with the ability to lift 75 pounds and work in a dusty environment. Overtime and occasional out-of-town field work may be required.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- Good MVR
- Willingness to work overtime
- Willingness to occasionally work out of town in the field
- Ability to occasionally lift at least 75 pounds
- Must comply with the company's drug and alcohol testing requirements
