Job Summary
Conduct preventative maintenance on CNC machines, shears, air compressors, and hydraulic presses. Manage inventory and ordering of raw materials, sheet metal, and consumables for Sirtex. Verify and maintain oil and coolant levels, including checking pH and refractometer readings. Clean automated and manual machines, behind shear machines, and assemble waste bins. Pre-cut materials in accordance with designs and maintain overall shop cleanliness. Requires valid driver's license, ability to lift up to 75lbs, and work extended hours including weekends. Part-time schedule on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must possess a valid driver's license
- Computer literate
- Ability to read, understand, and follow standard operation procedures (SOP) and work instructions
- Demonstrated ability to utilize standard tools
- Ability to work extended hours, including weekends
- Capable of lifting up to 75lbs
- 3+ months experience (on the job or schooling)
- Aptitude for problem solving, decision making, and an effective cross-functional team participant
