Job Summary
The Shop Assistant Level I supports daily manufacturing operations in a fast-paced sheet metal environment, assisting with grinding, deburring, sanding, and general shop tasks to ensure parts meet quality standards and delivery timelines. Responsibilities include grinding, sanding, and deburring parts; operating entry-level shop tools (orbital sanders, grinders, hand tools); handling finished parts carefully; and supporting multiple departments to meet production goals. Requires a high school diploma or GED; entry-level manufacturing experience is a plus, with preferred prototyping or sheet metal experience. Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED required
