Job Summary
Heavy Equipment Shop and Field Service Technician role based in Hobbs, NM. Perform maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on all types of heavy equipment, including engine rebuilds, axle reconditioning, hydraulic valves and pumps, and transmission repairs. Remove, disassemble, clean, repair, recondition, and reassemble components; keep meticulous service records (hours, serial numbers, complaints, causes, corrections); mentor and guide other technicians and apprentices; attend company-sponsored training to level up skills; maintain service trucks and company assets; prioritize safety and adhere to John Deere standards; contribute to a team-focused, growth-oriented environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Vocation or technical degree, or equivalent work experience or training
- Strong communication skills and self-motivated spirit
