Job Summary
The Shop and Field Service Parts Coordinator is responsible for overseeing daily parts logistics in the service department to meet the needs of internal parts requests. Key responsibilities include updating service job notes regarding parts availability, utilizing manufacturers' parts tracking systems for effective inventory management, placing orders for factory direct parts, ensuring accuracy in service parts orders, processing parts returns, and maintaining an organized work area. Candidates should have 5+ years in parts service coordination within the heavy equipment industry, strong communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft applications.
Required Qualifications
- HS Diploma or equivalent required
- 5 or more years’ experience in the Heavy Equipment Industry as it relates to parts service coordinating
- Komatsu experience preferred
Desired Qualifications
- 2–4 year degree preferred
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Proficient with Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Intellidealer)
- Good working knowledge of equipment operations and mechanical functions
- Exceptional organization skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability and initiative for continuous learning
- Problem solving capabilities
- Capable of working with limited supervision
- Capable of initiating follow-up and expediting work
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
